Since 2007, Classic Boat Magazine has been presenting awards for the best restorations of the year and “Cynara” has been short listed for this award in the “Restored Sailing Vessel over 40ft (12,2m)” category of this years event, the 2021 edition.
I would really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to view the attached pictures and short video, so you can understand what we have been doing and vote for “Cynara” from those short listed for this year’s event.

Second seatrials in Sagami Bay, Japan,
No major boatyard was involved. All my friends; boat builders, shipwrights, joiners, riggers, engineers, & sparks put together a team of self employed wizards to undertake the restoration of this Camper & Nicholson Gaff rigged Ketch originally launched in Gosport in 1927.
We worked in Japan which was an enormous culture and work readjustment for all concerned during three years (2017-2020) and put our lives, souls and hearts in the hands of the “Cynara Project”.
